Once upon a time, there was a poor farmer named Jack. Jack lived in a small village with his wife and three children. Despite their struggles, Jack and his family were known for their kindness and generosity. One day, a mysterious old man appeared at Jack's doorstep. The old man was actually a fairy in disguise, and he had come to reward Jack for his good deeds. He handed Jack a golden goose and said, "This goose may not look like much, but its feathers are made of pure gold. Take good care of it, and you will never have to worry about money again." Jack was overjoyed and thanked the old man profusely. He brought the golden goose inside and showed it to his family. They were amazed by its beauty and couldn't believe their luck. However, word of the golden goose spread quickly throughout the village. The townsfolk, who were known for their greed, couldn't resist the temptation of owning a goose with golden feathers. They flocked to Jack's house, offering him large sums of money for the goose. But Jack refused to sell, knowing that the goose was a gift from the fairy. Frustrated and envious, the townsfolk decided to take matters into their own hands. They snuck into Jack's house in the middle of the night and tried to steal the golden goose. But as soon as they touched its feathers, they were stuck. The goose's magic prevented anyone from taking its feathers. The townsfolk were now stuck to the goose and couldn't move. Jack woke up to the commotion and couldn't help but laugh at the sight. He called the fairy for help, and the fairy appeared once again. He scolded the townsfolk for their greed and released them from the goose's magic. Feeling ashamed, the townsfolk apologized to Jack and his family. They learned their lesson and promised to be more kind and generous in the future. From that day on, Jack and his family lived happily ever after with their magical golden goose.
