Once upon a time, there was a curious cat named Whiskers. Whiskers lived in a cozy house with his loving owner, Mrs. Smith. Whiskers was a very curious cat and loved to explore his surroundings.

One day, while Whiskers was exploring the backyard, he stumbled upon a mysterious map. The map had a big red X marked on it and Whiskers couldn't help but wonder what it could mean. Being the curious cat that he was, Whiskers decided to follow the map and see where it led him.

Whiskers followed the map through the neighborhood, over hills and through forests. He even had to cross a river! But Whiskers was determined to find out what the big red X was all about.

Finally, after a long journey, Whiskers arrived at a big oak tree. The map had led him right to it! Whiskers looked around and saw a small hole at the base of the tree. He cautiously approached the hole and peeked inside. To his surprise, he saw a shiny treasure chest!

Whiskers was so excited and couldn't wait to see what was inside the treasure chest. He used his sharp claws to open the chest and inside he found a beautiful necklace made of sparkling jewels. Whiskers couldn't believe his luck!

Just then, Mrs. Smith came outside looking for Whiskers. She saw him with the treasure chest and was amazed. She explained to Whiskers that the treasure belonged to a family who used to live in their house a long time ago. They had buried it under the oak tree for safekeeping.

Whiskers was happy to have solved the mystery of the big red X and even happier to have found a new treasure to play with. From that day on, Whiskers was known as the bravest and most curious cat in the neighborhood. And he lived happily ever after with his loving owner, Mrs. Smith. The end.
